Finding the best providers
starts with real test evidence.

We expanded beyond the seven sellers already present in our price dataset and reviewed 16 market candidates. Independent sample histories, seller documents, business identity, exact-lot traceability, and policy clarity are evaluated separately. No provider has been declared best overall yet.

The earlier seven-provider release was a transparency score of sellers already in our price dataset, not a defensible search for the best providers in the market. Its badges are paused. We are retaining the pilot records for auditability while the broader qualification review proceeds.

Five findings

What the broader search changed.

Independent testing can support a product and batch conclusion. It cannot automatically support an entire provider, catalog, or future lot.

010

overall awards issued

No reviewed candidate clears every independent-testing, identity, lot-traceability, policy, and correction gate yet.

024

priority audit candidates

These providers have enough real evidence to merit deeper review, not enough to receive a blanket endorsement.

033

identity holds

Strong analytical results cannot overcome an unresolved storefront, legal counterparty, domain, or payment-route question.

04Product

results beat provider labels

The same provider can test strongly for one peptide and poorly for another. Every conclusion must stay product-specific.

05Reviews

stay operational evidence

Reviews can inform fulfillment and support patterns. They never prove identity, purity, quantity, sterility, or safety.

Unranked qualification field

16 real candidates, grouped by the next evidence task.

Test volume is coverage, not a quality score. The field is grouped by editorial stage so high counts cannot visually masquerade as a recommendation.

Third-party aggregation

Broad coverage, mixed custody.

Finnrick says samples may be acquired directly or submitted through testing programs. Its totals are useful coverage signals, not a controlled blind comparison of providers.

Blind sampling

Stronger custody, narrow scope.

Pepper Review's cited round used a blind protocol, but only one or three batches represent each included provider. The result stays batch-specific.

Seller disclosure

Useful access, selected evidence.

A seller-posted laboratory route improves transparency. It does not show blind acquisition or establish how representative the published reports are.

Overall qualification gate

No winner without all six.

01

At least 20 independently sourced tests across five or more peptides

A missing or unresolved field keeps the provider out of the overall award.

02

No unresolved expected-identity failure in a currently offered lot

A missing or unresolved field keeps the provider out of the overall award.

03

Public lot matching with product, nominal quantity, test date, laboratory, and verification route

A missing or unresolved field keeps the provider out of the overall award.

04

A named business counterparty, stable official domain, contact route, and complete commercial policies

A missing or unresolved field keeps the provider out of the overall award.

05

A research-use boundary that does not rely on customer testimonials or human outcome claims

A missing or unresolved field keeps the provider out of the overall award.

06

A current correction process and a documented response to material test failures

A missing or unresolved field keeps the provider out of the overall award.

A provider may still qualify for a narrow, product-specific finding when the exact product and batch have adequate independent evidence. That finding cannot be generalized to the rest of the catalog.

Retained pilot ledger

Seven transparency scorecards, not a market ranking.

These records remain public because quietly deleting the first methodology would be less transparent than correcting its scope.

Badge status

Issuance paused. No current holders.

The original badge gate measured only transparency inside a seven-provider price-tracking sample. It did not search the market or require independent product testing, so every badge has been withdrawn pending the broader review.

Pilot category observations

Specific documentation strengths only.

Ties stay ties. These observations apply only to the retained seven-provider pilot and do not imply a market, product, or safety advantage.

25

Public document access

Public, product-linked, and lot-aware routes receive more credit than request-only or general testing claims.

15

Laboratory and method disclosure

Named laboratories and methods receive more credit. Seller statements remain claims unless independently established.

15

Lot and report traceability

Direct lot matching and current report routes receive more credit than catalog-wide or undated documents.

15

Business identity and scope

This checks published identity and scope, not licensing, ownership, incorporation, or regulatory approval.

10

Commercial policy clarity

Complete public rates and conditions receive more credit than threshold-only or checkout-only information.

10

Review evidence quality

The score reflects sample depth and source confidence, never positive sentiment, health outcomes, or product quality claims.

10

Correction responsiveness

The inaugural baseline awards no points until a dated provider exchange is documented. Paying, linking, or partnering cannot add points.

The retained pilot records use the sources already attached to each price-tracked provider profile. Missing evidence remains missing. These scores cannot produce an active badge until the market-wide independent-testing gate is complete.
